Billing Case Study

Challenge

Fusion Court Development required an energy metering service which would enable the accurate billing of the energy consumed by residents. The client was struggling to find a suitable billing solution and residents had not been billed for over a year.  This posed a number of problems for the client, most of all having insufficient funds to pay site gas bills.

Solution

SW Energy were appointed by the client as the supplier for the metering service and were able to provide a solution with our unique CRM and billing system which has enabled us to implement a quality and reliable billing service for residents at the Fusion Court development.

Our dedicated customer service and billing teams are readily available to assist with resident queries and ensure that billing data can be managed effectively to provide regular billing and reporting.

Engineer support is currently provided to obtain meter reading data on a monthly basis to allow accurate consumption-based billing.

Outcome

Residents at Fusion Court are now receiving accurate monthly bills and have the facility to make payment via Direct Debit, BACS and credit card. A robust credit control process is in place to ensure that any outstanding debt can be managed and that sufficient funds are collected to cover gas bills.

Ongoing Improvements

SW Energy is working closely with our client to enable remote access to the computerised meter reading system.  This will allow essential utility data to be supplied in a timely and cost-effective manner with the meter readings being integrated into the energy management database.
